The Day Change Came.

On January 20,2008 most people in the world were aware of what happen in Washington Dc. Early in the morning people gathered to see Barack Obama take the oath that for many years every American president takes before goinG into power. However if you watched it on your television, saw it on articles, or had the chance of being present in Washinton Dc, I believe we all got the felling that there was something special in the air... a certain energy, hope, smile, and the look of dreams being reborn in peoples eyes. I'm pround to say I took the time to register and vote on this years election. Since voting in the United States is not obligatory, it was a personal choice and an experience which made me fell like I was a small part of history. This election was crucial due to our economy's condition and also historical for the fact that today for the first time the United States has an African American as our President.

If you live in the U.S.A I encourage all who didn't get to vote this year to take the time to register and vote on our next election. I believe is something we must experience and it's crucial for our voices to be heard.

No dia 20 de janeiro de 2008 muitas pessoas no mundo estavam conscientes do que estava acontecendo em Washington DC. Milhares de pessoas se reuniram para ver Barack Obama tomar o juramento que há muitos anos cada presidente americana toma antes de ir para o poder. Se você viu na televisão,em artigos, revistas ou teve a oportunidade de estar presente em Washinton DC, acredito que todos nós sentimos que havia algo especial no ar ... uma certa energia,esperança, muitos sorrisos e no olhar das pessoas podiamos ver seus sonhos renascendo novamente. Tenho orgulho de dizer que tirei o tempo para registrar e votar na eleição deste ano. Votar nos Estados Unidos não é obrigatório, foi uma escolha pessoal e uma experiência que me fez sentir parte da história. Esta eleição foi crucial devido à nossa condição economica e também pelo facto histórico que hoje pela primeira vez os Estados Unidos têm um presidente negro.

Se você mora na E.U.A. Eu encorajo todos os que não votarão este ano para tirar o tempo para se registrar e votar na próxima eleição. Acredito que é algo que temos que experiênciar, é crucial para que nossas vozes sejam ouvidas.
