The Two Shuttles/ As duas Naves

I saw this new post, and the picture caught my eye! Wanted to share it with you guys. The pic is of Space shuttle Endeavour on Launch Pad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, where it will be ready for launch in a few weeks in case of any emergency with its sister ship Atlantis during next month's risky repair, mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. Atlantis is planned for May 12 liftoff. Altogether, two orbiters have been at their launch pads simultaneously 18 times in NASA's 28-year history of flight, they all hope its the last time it happens!

Eu vi esse noticia, e adorei a foto! Queria mostrar pra todos vcs. A foto é da nave espacial Endeavour que está na rampa de lançamento 39B, da NASA, no Kennedy Space Center, em Cabo Canaveral FL, onde ela estará pronta para lançamento no caso de uma emergência com a sua nave irmã Atlantis, durante o próximo mês na missão arriscada para arrumar o Telescópio Espacial Hubble. Atlantis está prevista para decolar dia 12 de maio. No total duas naves foram preparadas 18 vezes simultaneamente em 28 anos da NASA, eles esperam que seja a última vez que isso aconteça!
